hello guys i am Project Argus 2.0 is a real-time face recognition system designed to automate attendance marking and provide intelligent alerting for specific individuals. The system identifies known faces, prevents duplicate attendance entries, logs unknown faces with snapshots, and sends instant alerts through Telegram when target persons are detected. The project emphasizes offline functionality using locally stored face encodings, real-time video analysis, and modular architecture. This report presents the motivation, literature study, system methodology, implementation pipeline, experimentation, results, limitations, and future enhancements of Project Argus 2.0.
